A big merlot with lots of plump ripe fruit

Slightly herbaceous edge to it, underneath all the ripe red fruit

Ed Sbragia did a great job with this Merlot.

Taste good. Not much to say, lush and readily pleasing.

A huge #wine, dense blackberry and ripe plum. Black licorice and backcountry underbrush. A wonderful cocktail wine to drink on its own, a bit too hedonistic for my taste. Tannins and structure are eclipsed by dense, low hanging fruit. A steakhouse Merlot, like Silver Joke.

First merlot for me. I liked it

A Merlot with the complexity and weight of a cab. Notes: Mocha, oak, and spice, with black cherries and blackberry jam.

It was better than I remembered it. Great fruit, tannins and balance.

Berries , a hint of licorice. Bold with a smooth finish.
