This appears to be evolving. The first bottle, perhaps, highlighted the grenache a bit more whereas tone the fruit was a bit less exuberant and savory notes more pronounced.

This needs an hour to open but then its complexity and richness show quite well. Grenache is the higher percentage and it shows. Very plush.

Here’s a jackpot wine. Wonderful blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre. Dark red colouring with very fragrant nose of red-currants and cherries with an additional layer of lavender and mixed herbs. The palate is smooth, tannins and fruit are well balanced for such a young wine. Some sweet and savoury on the finish, really pushes you to take the next sip to discover more. Great wine.

Exceptional Grenache Mourvèdre blend, felt the 3hr decant I gave it was about right for drinking young
