Neighbor's forgotten cabinet discovery.
Wee funky citrus merengue nose, tastes sour nutty orange rind. Pleasing post prandial.

This sherry is pleasantly nutty and neither too sweet or too dry

Fine for the price point, but that's not the most impressive thing about this Sherry. This is the Sherry that Commanders Palace (New Orleans) uses to top their turtle soup. I have been using it in other dishes and it is absolutely super for that.

A little bit average, has slight bitter finish after a bit too much sugar up front, so lacking the balance of a more refined Amontillado.

Best I've found now that I can't find Hartley & Gibson and Pedro Romero.
