Cool climate character; more Northern Rhone than Australia. As with all Savaterre, this is built to age but all the elements are there. Quite green/stemmy, but enough dark berry fruit, rosemary, and spice to give balance. Better in 5 yrs but wanted to like this more.

Love the cool climate aspect of this wine. While it sits atop a hill and gets its fair share of sun it still shows notes of olive, smoked meatiness, violets other spices. The dark fruit side of the wine is woven in and isn't at all jammy - black cherry, mulberry and dark plum. Nice work Kep! @savaterre

Woody, stalky, briary. But just bottled... showing strong promise. Needs a couple of years to develop.
