Copeland Vineyard, Rattlesnake Hills. Orange red, excellent clarity. Cherry and citrus notes in nose. Cherry, tangerine flavors, rounded mouthfeel, fruity but dry, slight skin astringency on finish. Well crafted.

New vintage. Light dusty rose, very good clarity. Some fruit in nose. Cherry and grapefruit flavors, good acid, dry but fruity. Restrained but tasty.

Found one last bottle of the 2017 for a retasting. Salmon pink, excellent clarity. Black and white pepper notes in nose. Pepper and stone fruit flavors in mouth, slight spritz, dryish, lemon-citrus finish, light fine-grain skin astringency. Cherry and pink grapefruit flavors emerge after 30 minutes.

Light golden pink, excellent clarity. Red fruit and a hint of herb in the nose. Stone fruit, cherry and later pink grapefruit in mouth, dry, moderate skin astringency that disappears with a bit of aeration. Subtle, nuanced flavors. A nice example of restrained, minimalist winemaking - just shows what's there in the fruit, gentle handling but "whole cluster pressing" (says the label); otherwise, no reliance on added frills like malolactic or heavy skin contact (assuming I interpreted the wine accurately).

Pepper and graphite on the nose. Dry, apple/pear notes. A little fizzy on the tongue.

Lucky enough to be tasting there before this was announced as available & it was already selling fast. Not too dry, not too sweet. Just right! 12.3% abv
