Their Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Red Head Vineyard on Old Soda Springs Road in southeast Napa Valley. Plush, perfumed and inky, with that keep-coming-back-to-the-glass savoriness. Lush and hedonistic, but with layers and length. Stellar!

Maybe in 10 years, but now it’s so harsh, acidic, and tannic that it is unpleasant to drink. I can feel the quality and power underneath the surface of this wine but it likely won’t emerge until 2030.

Opened on Friday & left it at the warehouse fridge until today 🤷🏼♂️
Strong wine but for $100.00 I can name a dozen other 2013’s I would buy instead. Nice experiment though. Very tight on Friday, opened up today after warming up.
