Sass, Christie's Cuvee PN (2008)
Blend of Walnut Ridge and Wild Winds (only vineyards on property)
Second to last bottle from harvest. Drank with Mac, with Monday night steaks 7/1/19
Takes a little time to open, still lush. Less nose than expected: dark fruit and potting soil. On the palate lush and concentrated, with notes of stewed cherry, hints of cranberry, violet, earth, green, and a medium finish with surprisingly decent grip. Slightly unbalanced acid and low on fruit, may be hitting its age cap

I drank this in a RV about 1 mile from the Sass winery last week. Only problem with it is that when the bottle is empty there is no more. Very "cool" and vibrant. Nice stone-fruity and berry.
