Sartori di Verona
Estate Collection Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend
4th generation of business for Sartori family, spanning over a century. A blend of 50% Corvina, 30% Corvinone, 15% Rondinella & 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruits and spice notes. On the palate sweet cherry and ripe strawberry with cacao and cinnamon spice. Round soft full tannins, balanced with acidity on a long finish ending with earthy mineral tones. Nice.

Dec 26th, 2015Started to open up after about an hour in the decanter. High alcohol is to be expected with Amarone but I felt it was nicely integrated in this wine
