Smell of the strawberry and baked goods one expects from most Pinot. Flavor is earthy and tart. Kinda high alcohol for Pinot at 14.2%. Plenty of tannin. A strange unique wine. And a very strange Pinot. Light in color, hot and full of tannins. But tasty and true to the Pinot ethos.
