Used this for Sunday Gravy. It's a perfect wine for red sauces, but I'd drink it with steak as well.

Perfect dry balance

Rounded dark stone fruit. Good tanin.

A delicious blend with enough Sangiovese to pair with traditional Italian dishes and yet also goes well with meats, cheeses, crusty Italian bread or just to drink. A real bargain wine.

Lots of different flavors going on in this one. Mostly dark cherry but sort of “vinegary”. Back says balsamic sweetness and that makes sense with the flavors I was tasting. Was definitely better with risotto and sausage with onions and peppers. Was a WSJ wine.
