Picked this up at the hotel wine store for $297 pesos. Apparently Santo Tomas was the first winery in Baja California - they started in 1888- just for reference Krug was first in Napa in 1861 followed by Schramsburg and then Beringer and Inglenook in 1879. This has a lot of Brett (more like stinky feet, not in a good way) on the nose, then just overly sweet on the palette. Blend of Chenin blanc and Chardonnay. Not my style but fun to try Mexican wines nonetheless.
