Monthly wine group met up and had an Italian wine night at one of the local Italian BYOB spots. Really fantastic Italian wines were brought, as well as some random bottles that were outside the theme (but worthy of opening regardless of theme).
A nice break from the brunellos...hefty and flavor packed. Lots of blackberries, plums, rhubarb pie and I want to say some licorice? In its best drinking window now.
