Sweet wines are not my thing, this was this only Peruvian wine we could find for a Peruvian meal. Would taste better chilled. I am transported to my Polish grandmas house smelling this wine (vodka, garlic, musty 1950s carpet). Super musty. Medium bodied, semi-sweet as advertised. Lots of strawberry. Would be good with dessert though. At least it was only $10

The color is that of dark cherry with a purple rim. Borgona is the Peruvian varietal known as Isabela or Concord in the US. Matches well with spicy and sweet-sour dishes and seasoned meats and pasta.
