Tuscany at Mohegan Sun. Wine was great. NY Strip was great tasting but lousy cut of beef.

Port like. Sweet and spicy. Probably paired it with the wrong food. Doesn’t go with pizza or anything that has a sweet note. Plummy. Got it at auction. Might not try it again in the future. There are other Amarones I prefer. Spicier a couple of days later.

On the nose, smells like a vintage port. Layered flavors of stewed plum, cinnamon sticks and spice. Definitely a winter wine.
