Keep in mind that I rate by price vs quality and this is only $7. If you're looking for a Merlot under $10 this is what you want! Purplish red in color with aromas of violets, strawberry jam, cherries, wooden wine box, and vanilla extract. In the mouth it's medium bodied, has solid structure, but a bit harsh in mouthfeel. There's flavors of bright cherries, plum, black table grapes and vanilla. The fruit vanishes quickly on the finish but spice and heat remain.
