I seem to like this more than most! It has a soft spot in my heart because it was the red pairing during my Le Bernardin dinner in 2018 with Greg. I then bought this bottle from the vineyard and kept it for five years. It’s drinking nicely now; it opens tart but mellows with air to reveal some graceful aging. ~$75.

Ever since I this as part of the Le Bernardin pairing in 2018, I’ve been a fan. Less tannin than a Napa cab but not as hammy as something from Paso Robles. ~$55.

The 2nd year of drought really shows here compared to the 2013. Far deeper fruit character that is tightly wound but dark - cherry and currant. Slight pyrazine but nothing compared to ‘13 more savoury secondary character - cocoa and espresso. Chunky tannin and medium plus plus acid. Great concentration. Long long finish. Hold.
