70% chardonnay and 30% roussanne from bien nacido and watch hill vineyards, this is full of those hot metal and black pepper mineral notes I love in amazing white burgundy, but has a rich texture, full body, and some pineapple fruit that says unmistakably i-live-in-the-sun. Stunning and finessed and balanced, I've never found these flavors in Cali chard before. 2012 vintage.
