Light to medium garnet/ruby color. Aromas of red berries, wild herbs, baking spices and earth. Blend of strawberry, sour cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, raspberry along with some dark berry fruit on the palate. There are also notes of salami, black tea and dried herbs. Medium bodied but quite concentrated. Long finish includes a hint of graphite. Very “Beaujolais-like” in style. (Carbonic Maceration?) Solid.

Started out as a 9 but then faded to an 8.5. Has the acidity to carry it for a few years. Bright cherry and raspberry with nice under brush and spice. Was expecting more.
