Pillastro Puglia Primitivo

Normally enjoy primitivo but I’ve definitely had better. Cherry notes a bit too harsh for me.

Smooth, full bodied red.

Extra fruity and heavy on the cherry. Nice with chocolate, but a little sweet and a little thin for my taste.

Delicious and fruity - perfect with hone-made meatballs & spaghetti

Nose.. greenery leather

Palate.. full body, medium tannin, dry, not acid

Nearly better than yellow tail 😘

Very nice, easy to drink

Powerful berry fruit aromas with a rich wrap of spicy vanilla

Nose.. dirty socks, rotten vine.

Palate.. dry. Late tannin, full body, medium acid,

Muddy, late fruity, leather.
