Medium ruby in color; black cherries, hibiscus, and smoke on the nose; high acidity; high tannins: tastes like hibiscus, black pepper, red plums, and clay pots with a long finish. A little in your face with black pepper. Otherwise, I would have rated it higher. Leo says it's ok. Nellie and I like it. Thank you to Leo for buying me this bottle on Father's day!
