Very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this wine. Heard about Spanish value wines for a while but didn’t think I’d ever found one. This was it. Nice full red with a distinctive Spanish flavor.

We both really like it! I think it would be great with a chocolate dessert. Lighter than you would think for the color.

Color of dark ruby with shades of purple on the rim. Nose of dark fruits like cherry, plum, and prune, some strawberry, and a bit vanilla indeed. Taste is quite milky and smooth, with ample acidity and refined dark fruits notes, pretty low in tannins, a bit zesty, and a bit peppery. Aftertaste follows the taste, medium. Clean with flavors. Pretty good.
