Deep ruby. Alcohol is present on the nose initially, but blows off quickly yielding black cherry and candied tobacco (yeah, I know). Medium full body. Mildly assertive medium plus tannins. Medium acidity. Old World finesse wrapped lightly in New World style makes for a food-friendly and versatile red that will please by the glass. Drink now through 2022.
