Semi-sweetly fruited initially in its profile: blueberries, blackcurrant. Feint leather, Vanilla Coke, anise character. Interesting tannin profile that goes unnoticed without a serious wash through the gob, softish but persistent and outweighs the finish. Served this ever so slightly chilled and found the previously highlighted and noticeable alcohol nestled into the background. I like the freshness of this now, personally it is not the type of thing I'd necessarily see the need to age.
