Rewriting what I thought I knew about steel in making Chardonnay. The texture is perfectly in balance with the weight of the wine, which is light. Salty acid and mineral tension are in the foreground, with that leafy green character I so adore in Chablis and Riesling, and citrus fruits that barely hint at something riper and white flowers providing more of an accent than anything else. Lovely wine.
