Underrated! Excellent effort from Salvestrin that shows deep fruit, balance and smooth tannins. Barrels selection also enhanced the consistency in this bottling so again reputation hurt the real wine.

Big, inky, dark fruits, coffee- espresso notes. Big, bold & spicy. A big wine! Dark fruits, smooth tannins, spices. Quite nice! Medium + acid.

I typically stay away from 2011 altogether but this is delicious. Drinking perfectly right now, I get big vanilla, black cherry, and coffee with structured tannins and great balance.
