Cinque Querce Irpinia Aglianico

Powerful, dusty old-school volcanic Aglianico from a great producer. Licorice, peppermint candy, menthol, spicy red berries. High acid and big tannins, tremendously fresh and bracing on the palate. Serious midterm aging potential.

Green abs unripe- maybe a bad bottle . You can taste the volcanic dust.

Full bodied, floral but not too sweet. Hints of almond
