Color of dumb purple with some orange and light gray note. Nose of wet mushrooms, cherry, plum, fermented cabbage, berries, and strength of alcohol. Taste of cherry jam, spices, bittersweet zest, quite powerful alcohol content, wet mushrooms, subtle acidity, low tannins, clean and savory. Aftertaste of spiciness, bittersweet a bit too much. Overall quite powerful but savory Pinot.

My boyfriend loves this and started drinking it 20 years ago. I am a total convert. It's got smooth fruit, a pleasant soft spice, plus carmel tones and, as he says, it finishes nicely. There's no harshness at all.

Blackberry was the first thing I tasted. Accompanying the BBM (lolololol) primary taste is a subtle tartness, which is just that - subtle. There are secondary tobacco, leather, and/or "aged" flavors that the Doc Holiday in all of us would worship. Fortunately for my palate, they are LITE to the taste. Muah!
