My first time with Plavac Mali. This wine is from Dalmatia (duh!) A lot of spice on the nose. Bright red cherry flavors, tart. Bit of sweet tobacco and powdery tannins. Very light bodied. A fun alternative to Barbera.

Not a bad plavac but heavy on the blackberry notes, not quite the bone dry sandpaper-y finish that I get from many other plavac mali wines. Still great, just not AS great.
