Gardacho Garnacha

Solid Garnacha.

Mmmm. Spanish Garnacha. This one is from Navarro. Not as bold as Jumilla, but very nice.

Spanish Granache. Drank at the suggestion of the host/som at Enoteca in Teton Village in Jackson Hole. I like. Buy this one again. Give it some time to open.

Great for the price. Easy and straight forward.

A little spicy with a berry compote. Nothing to Wright home about.

Give this wine a full 24 hours to open up. I opened the bottle yesterday and found it to be simply fruity and one-dimensional, with almost no aromatic qualities, so I put the cork in it and set it on the kitchen counter, and went about my bidness. However, tonight, the nose is showing bright cherry fruit with notes of forest floor, beeswax, cloves, mineral, and yes, chesenurgers. Good balance, with a huge finish laden with the aforementioned cherry and mineral qualities. And, a very good value. Have this with anything roasted with some thyme and lemon and you'll be happy.

A new world style Spanish Grenache, pretty jammy, floral note. A pretty good value.
