Kokerboom Sémillon

Semillon from the interior of South Africa from Eben Sadie, one of the best whites from SA that I have ever had. Tons of acidity and freshness, lots of density but light on its feet. Pretty tightly wound, try this in a few years…3-5 from vintage date should be ideal.

Among the most interesting, wonderful, complex, and truly spellbinding wines I’ve ever experienced. Florals that evoke jasmine with orange/tangerine pith, beeswax, and an herbaceous streak that makes such a beautiful, delicious package. Something truly special.

Intense #semillon this is really concentrated and almost #jura like #beeswax #lemoncurd and honey notes. It’s hard to mistake it for anything else. Pure and #typicity

My goodness. That's all there is to say.

Just a couple years of age on this made such a massive difference. Semillon Blanc and Semillon Gris. Aromatics were off the chart. So well balanced. What a treat.
