On the palate, peppercorn, earth, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, wood, and blackberries.
Medium finish with aggressive tannins, black pepper and cloves.
Looks like this is still young ( the color and the tannins).
14% alcohol by volume.
This wine spent at least 6 months in oak barrels.

Bright raspberry-apple, cinnamon with vanilla pudding, a literal wall of seasoned oak. Black cherry skins in cognac, with a whiff of smoke, finishing with a pepper cream sauce.. Piquancy in a spicy sense on the palate. Creamy melange of peppercorn and wooden spices: nutmeg coconut cinnamon and more cinnamon. However, the total package is unique in this price point, and finally becoming approachable after 7 years! Only in Spain! Ole!

Jun 10th, 2018Well. A decent nice dry wine. I had this with Chinese and it was a bit too much. So I am recommending this with meat. Red meat. And potatoes.
