A nice body but flavor isn't anything special. A little dry and leathery with slight mocha.

Opened a second bottle that was shipped on a different date. You still have the hint of sulfur in the nose, but it isn't as flat in the mouth as the first bottle I just rated. There is more discernible black fruit in the start and middle. Still not a great wine, but at least drinkable.

Nov 17th, 2015Off putting sulfur notes in the nose. Starts very bland with not much substance. Mushroom and mineral in the finish, which is actually the best part of this subpar bottle.
