It held up and was a great representation of 1997. Where many have turned this wine showed well and held its structure and fruit. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed drinking this wine.

Agree w/ the previous reviews. Late 90’s RG cabs had huge fruit & have held up surprisingly well. This was a $22-24 btl in early 00’s - what a great value! Loved opening a nice 26yr old treat!

99' vintage (magnum) stylistically consistent with millennium era winemaking in the valley...tons of wood, dust and cherry with a little menthol. Surprised at the level of tannin on this after 16 years!
