In the series of RRV Pinot Noirs this has been my least favorite. Has consistently had "hot" feel in the mid palate.

Oct 6th, 2016Great fan of RRV but this bottle was hot. Managed to get through most of it but was shipped during a warm time and that shows. Highly recommend other RRV Pinots however.

Apr 21st, 2016This is my second bottle of Bella Sonoma vineyard and was much better than the first. Has tannins similar to a Cab Sauv on the back end, leather flavors and deep fruit.

Dec 17th, 2015Hate giving such a poor grade to a RRV wine. This is a great vineyard but this Pinot has a high alcohol (14.8) and you can definitely tell it both in smell and taste. Definitely needs to decant. Not much fruit on the front but after sometime you get a bit of fruit mid palate. I recommend Fratti or Estate well before this one.
