Pale yellow white. Sulfite, floral, herbal and spice notes in nose. Tangerine peel initially, floral, lemon flavors with a hint of black pepper; later, some grapefruit pith emerges. Mild skin astringency, good acidity and fruit, almost dry. A dilute leesy character at room temperature, but you won’t catch it if the wine is over chilled. An ambitious wine, well crafted but just a tad short of tremendousness.
