Excellent. Bold and classic Tuscany on the nose. Dark fruits, black cherry, black pepper. Yum. Reminded me of barbaresco.

Subtle smell. Cedar, tobacco, violet, earth. Don't need food but could go well with meat and cheese board or lamb.

My first 9 rating in a while. Light, grapey, tiny pepper bite. Maybe not as versatile as a Cabernet or red blend, but would be superb with most Italian fare.
