Dark fruits and heavy barnyard on the nose. Maybe lacks that "it" factor. Probably best paired with a pasta dinner than taken on its own. Edit: Looking back on it this wine was probably past its prime by a wide margin.

Drinking great right now. Very smooth, good structure, tannins mellowed.

Great nose and amazingly smooth finish. Was very surprised how well this has aged. Definitely a great value and worth trying!
