A beautiful representation of Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder), excellent cut and precision on the green apple, pear, lime and mineral rock. A tinge of spice on the finish. Like a Chablis 1er with more body. Lengthy, fresh and energetic finish. This has mellow some since I last had it.

One of the best wines I have tasted so far in 2015. Pinot Blanc from gneiss stone bedrock soils. The lift, energy and depth of flavor is profound and for me plants a mental flag on a hillside in the Wachau. #austria #oldvines
