3rd wine of the night: 2010 RUDD estate.
Bigger, more depth and a longer finish than Backus but not as long as Calon Segur. Just a tad below Calon this evening. 2nd place tonight.

I'm in a California state of mind...tannins gone, long finish, great fruit - little licorice. Great bottle. Get involved!

A classy noble wine bursting with black currants and licorice. My date tasted pine cones and vegetation from the forrest floor. It's very well balanced but I liked the 2004 better.

Delightful. Pleasant. Present on the palate. Can't wait to try again next year to see how it changes. Love having these in the collection.
