Before my time at Rudd- peaking now I think, hard to imagine the texture getting better than this with more bottle age. A fun one with mom and dad and grilled filet mignon.

Opened this up as my last one seemed to be at the end of the road. Not the case with this one. Fruit still there yet you get those secondary notes of tanned leather and Asian plum. Bright acidity that give this wine its breath of fresh air. Totally impressed, last one.

Fully matured at this point. True classic Oakville Cab. Ran through Venturi and really opened up, decant is a must. Quintessential Napa/Oakville aged nose of Luxurdo Cherries, black olives, blackberry and plowed field. Tannins are nearly undetectable yet still balanced acidity and fruit on the palate. Mouth of sweet pipe tobacco, cassis and cedar. Soft finish that comes than goes. Cellared since release. Drink em if you got em.

👍👍👍. Sweet black fruit, dirt, and licorice. Slightly tart finish. Great stuff.

Big, super cherry; nicely balanced and ready to drink (with braised brisket n polenta)
