This wine is absolutely stunning! These wines made by David Ramey, are the only wines from California that I have tasted at 10+ years old that have no ethyl acetate (shoe polish) aroma or taste at all. This wine is true CA power and finesse! Absolutely perfect. Still with vibrant fruit, fine tannins and a very long finish! Absolutely amazing wine! Could probably go another 5 years but glad we had it now. Balance is just right. Was enjoyed with prime top sirloin.

17 years old with a vibrant nose and long Napa typical finish. Oddly the mid palate is wearing thin... but still expressive at the book ends. Throws so much sediment that Ramey could replant the vineyard.
