Pale lemon in color.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Showing limes, citrus, green apples, spices, minerals, light grass, herbs, light gooseberry and white pepper.

Dry on the palate with nice length on the finish.

This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley. Crisp and refreshing, and feels young for a 4 year old Sauvignon Blanc.

I had this vintage almost 2 years ago, and it is drinking better now.

Nicely balanced with lots of fruits to balance the acidity. Alcohol is nicely integrated by now.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime, when complexity comes in.

Drinking very nicely now and will continue in the next few years.

A blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Gris and 2% Sémillon. Aged in mostly French oak barrels for 9 months (9% new).

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

Light golden in color.

On the nose limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, spices, herbs, grass, light vegetables and white pepper.

Medium bodied with bright acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, light grapefruits, earth, spices, vegetables, herbs, black pepper and green tea.

Tangy finish with limes and herbs.

This is a very nice Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity and refreshing. Tangy, spicy and interesting. The alcohol is nicely integrated, although pretty high.

Good by itself and better with food. Would be wonderful with oysters.

I paired it with cheeses and crackers, and is very nice with the Spanish Manchego cheese.

Pale yellow. Crisp and bright, with some hint of oak that softens the edges. Had with Oyster Ceviche. A lovely pairing.

Decisions decisions… Both very comparable styles. Rudd is a Mount Veeder Suav Blanc with fruit derived from mountaintop vineyards where vines are stressed and provide more concentrated berries. Very balanced and almost exuberant on the palate. There are sharp honey suckle note toward a midst of the palate. Cheers.

Y’all, it’s hot in Texas. This wine definitely helps. Crisp and refreshing. Citrus and tropical fruit for the win. Enjoyable Thursday night casual bottle.
