This is my favorite Northern Piemontese grower, and everything I've had from them is spot on, especially the 2006 Ghemme.

2006. Fruity nose of cherry & kirsch. Leather, barnyard. Sommelier's description of it as a mix between a Barolo and Burgundy was apt. Excellent.
