Rôtie Cellars
Northern White Washington State Marsanne
Glad that WA winemakers are producing wonderful Rhone varietals such as this 100% Marsanne. Effusive white flowers and acacia. Complex flavors of white fruits, donut peaches and bright lime acidity. Waiting improved this. Wonder what another year will do.

Nov 21st, 2015Lemon and stones. Very dry & acidic, light. Lacking in the sweet fruits, a little hollow. No where close to the Southern white, 60 Viognier/25 Roussanne/5 Marsanne.
Maybe that's how it's supposed to be, but give me the Southern 9 out of 10.

Know very little about whites. This seems good. Nice acid, light, good mouthfeel, decent longevity. Slight secondary bitterness, which is actually a nice thing.
