Paired well with a filet on the grill. Smooth tannins, still fruity/tastes young could use more time. Despite that very drinkable and a decent price. Seemed like a bargain for $20.

Alexander Valley hillside fruit (some Lancaster estate too!)
1% merlot. 1% petit verdot
18monts French oak
Big lilac/eucalyptus nose, typical of this region.
Chocolate, dark fruit and baking spice with good structure, medium tannin and a long finish.
Try with braised short ribs!
