Blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot & 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cacao with toasty oak, well balanced. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, sweet spice and earthy toasty oak character.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from Roth Estate is bright, floral and very easy to like. Crushed flowers, spice, mocha and raspberry are nicely delineated in this delicate, perfumed Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink it over the next decade or so. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2021)

Call me underwhelmed. Not a lot of nose and less fruit than I would like. A touch thin. What fruit there is is slightly overripe and a touch cooked, not at all what I expected when I selected a bottle from Alex Valley. Feeling meh.
