a non vintage basic rosso from Tuscany
12.5% ABV
90% sangiovese
10% merlot
brownish red 👀
not so smelly really. cherry, tobacco, leather and some greeness (tomato?) and banana.👃
full body even a bit syrup like, I'm guessing rs.
high gripping acidity.
it plays games. tart ripe red fruit felt strongly then hides in the background as tobacco, leather and tannins take control👄
medium dry pleasent 🎯
keeps changing so stable it is not, but always pleasant.
superb vfm (35 nis, stupidly cheap in israel prices).
having a glass or two come supper time in my local imagined weekday neighborhood trattoria sounds devine.
paired okish with curry and turmeric spiced quinoa.
was lovely by itself later on as well.
