I miss when Rosenblum was the shit. Coffee grounds, forest floor, porcini, wet potting soil, black tea. Entering the relaxed, savory/sweet part of its lifecycle. I always felt like a smart guy when I could score all of this wine I wanted while all the collector types drove up the price of Ridge York Creek.

Prune and raisin aromas dominate the nose, and palate, along with sweet spice reminiscent of minced meat pie. Soft and supple. Best with a stew or tangine that would echo and play to this wine's characteristics.

Fruity, spicy, on the sweeter side, but a little denser than the Rosenblum Zins.
