Rosabrook
Single Vineyard Estate Chardonnay
I see a lot of potential in this. Well oaked but restrained. Deep, complex and powerful!
Acidity is softened but really persistent. Beautiful texture. This really works for me. I would love to see it in five + years.

A huge thanks to the team at Rosabrook for this lovely sample. This particular wine is served in First Class on Qantas so while you're sipping away on it you can daydream you're flying in luxury to your dream destination (or just do it!).
I have to say it. The label on this wine is damn fine! Very 'sexy-cool'. On the eye it's a pretty pastel yellow. Lovely orchard fruit aromas, I particularly picked up scents of oranges and peaches with a slight savoury whiff. The palate is fresh and has vibrant fruit flavours with perfectly proportioned oak. I specifically picked up flavours of banana passionfruit laced with vanilla and a lovely citrus zing. A gorgeous wine and a great example of how amazing Margaret River Chardy can be. $45 per bottle.
