I see a lot of potential in this. Well oaked but restrained. Deep, complex and powerful! Acidity is softened but really persistent. Beautiful texture. This really works for me. I would love to see it in five + years.

I have to say it. The label on this wine is damn fine! Very 'sexy-cool'. On the eye it's a pretty pastel yellow. Lovely orchard fruit aromas, I particularly picked up scents of oranges and peaches with a slight savoury whiff. The palate is fresh and has vibrant fruit flavours with perfectly proportioned oak. I specifically picked up flavours of banana passionfruit laced with vanilla and a lovely citrus zing. A gorgeous wine and a great example of how amazing Margaret River Chardy can be. $45 per bottle.
