Quick pairing pick-up for barbecued pork sandwiches. Seems I found the medium-bodied, juicy/sanguine red I was looking for. Cherry/berry, a bit of salty/coppery mineral on the finish. 2013 vintage but still bright and lively at its core. Plenty tasty. Edit: takes a bit to open up, but when it does the fruits spreads across the back palate nicely covering the heat.
